In the Indian Muslim society, after the law has been enacted to impose a triple divorce, it is now demanding that triple divorce in Pakistan be called a decorative act. The Council of Islamic Ideology, while supporting the proposal, said that the Council is interacting with several Islamic scholars in this regard.

Council chairperson Dr Qibla Ayaz said on Wednesday that the Council has decided to consider triple divorce as a decorative offense, and in this case, appropriate punishment will also be decided soon. Ayaz says that in this regard, the council has made the final decision after meeting in detail.
Triple divorce is a major contributor to the increasing rate of divorce in Pakistan, and people are prone to divorcing them three times in the same breath. The Council will also be handed over to the Pakistan Government for a proposal review in this regard. It will start work soon to make the law.
Ayaz said that on the spot divorce has become a major social issue and everyday complaints are coming in the mosques. Some cases are also being taken to court. At the same time, women and children have the greatest social impact in these cases. Their upbringing and children's education are affected. People need to be aware of family values.
