Servant has run away more than Rs. 63 lakhs

Gwalior Serving the collector's office no. 3 of the Municipal Office No. 1, the servant of the collector ran away not more than 35 lakhs of property, but more than Rs. 63 lakhs. This disclosure has happened in the investigation conducted by the Deputy Commissioner Jagdish Arora on Wednesday.

 

During the investigation, Jagdish Arora checked the checks from April 2018 to September 24, amounting to Rs 65 lakh 8 thousand 816. Private employee Sushant Kaur, who was running away with the money, deposited Rs.1,38,745 in private bank. The balance ran away with 63 lakh 70 thousand 71 rupees.

 

Moderator suspended, order of inquiry

 

Commissioner Vinod Sharma has ordered four investigators to suspend and collect the collectors in this case. Besides, he has ordered the police to file a case against Sushant, a private employee fleeing the money. The disclosure was made on Tuesday, when the responsible officials came to know that the private employee, Sushant has not deposited Rs 35 lakhs. After this, the recovery chart from Regional Office No. 1 was seized, in which the full amount was detected on Wednesday.

 

Raid three years ago

The Lokayukta team had raided this regional office of the municipal corporation of Bhoopapur three years ago. This complaint was made by Om Prakash Malik. Malik had given Rs.5000 / - to tax collector Jaysingh There was a chemical in it. This amount was given by Jai Singh to the second tax collector Dalveer Singh. Dalveer had given the amount to his private employee Sushant when the Lokayukta team caught him. Even after this, municipal tax collectors did not remove Sushant.

 

They also had responsibility

Private bank Kotak Mahindra was also responsible for bringing the amount deposited on the regional office by the tax collectors. Because their carriage goes to regional offices to collect money every day. It has all been running since April. It was also the responsibility of the Deputy Commissioner, Supervisor and Assistant Supervising Officer in the system.

 

In every ward the tax collectors have kept the servant

Wherever the work is done in the municipal corporation, the work of the illegal recovery is done by the private employee. There are 66 wards in the municipal area. Tax collectors of all these wards have kept private employees for their convenience.
