Saurabh scored 50.6 (10.2, 10.4, 9.5, 10.5, 10.0) and 50.8 (10.5, 10.4, 10.3, 9.9, 9.7) in Stage One in the 10 meter air pistol final and 18.6 (9.0, 9.60), 19.4 in Stage 2 10.0, 9.4), 20.0 (9.9, 10.1), 20.6 (10.6, 10.0), 20.2 (10.2, 10.0), 19.9 (9.8, 10.1) and 20.6 (10.2, 10.4) Record made. In this asiad, India has won 3 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze so far. On Monday, women's wrestler Vinesh Phogat (50kg) won a gold medal in wrestling. He became the first woman wrestler to win gold in Asian Games. The 23-year-old Vineet defeated Japan's Yuki Eri 6-2 in the final.



Gold medal in last round: Tomoyuki Matsyudaya, second in the second place, totaled 239.7 and Abhishek Verma scored 219.3 points. Saurabh was behind Tomoyuki after the stage ended. In Stage 2, they were running on number one from 3rd to 8th round. Tomoyuki lost his concentration in the ninth round. He scored 8.9 in the first attempt of this round and 10.3 in the second attempt. Saurabh improved his performance, scoring 10.2 and 10.4. This score of Saurabh made him a champion.



50 lakh cash and gazetted jobs: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath congratulated Saurabh Chaudhary on winning the gold medal. He declared Saurabh a grant of Rs. 50 lakhs and a gazetted job from the state government. Saurabh lives in Kelina village of Meerut. His father Jagmohan Singh is an ordinary farmer. Mother Brajesh Devi is a housewife. He is a Class 10 student in a school in Beranawa, Baghpat district.

Since his childhood, the fondness of shooting: his elder brother Nitin told that he was fond of targeting Saurabh from his childhood. He used to go to the villages and surrounding fairs to target the balloons and win the prize. In 2015, when he was 13, he started shooting for the first time. He started practicing at the Virashnam Rifle Club in Binauli near Barot. He used to practice around 7 to 8 hours a day. Saurabh's early coach Amit was expected to perform similarly from his disciple. Amit said that Saurabh is of a very quiet nature who is most essential for shooting. If he was also a failure, then he would not react. He insisted on continuous improvement in his game.


 
Practiced from the gun of the coach: According to Saurabh's family, Saurabh initially practiced with his coach's gun. When everyone felt that his interest in this sport was increasing, then the first gun which he offered was Rs 1 lakh 75 thousand rupees. Saurabh won many state and national level competitions after practicing with his coach's gun.
