Arjun Tendulkar, out of Zaheer in international debut match like his father Sachin, could not make a single run in 11 balls

Sachin Tendulkar's son and bowling all-rounder Arjuna was out on zero in the first international match by the Indian Under-19 team. It is a coincidence that when Sachin Tendulkar made a debut in ODIs against Pakistan in 1989, he too was out on zero. In the first four-day Under-19 Yuva Test between India and Sri Lanka, Arjuna got to bat at number 9 in the first innings, but despite facing 11 balls he could not open the account and got out. Shishika Dulshan of Sri Lanka caught him by Suriyabandara.

However, Arjun's international cricket was a good start from bowling perspective, he took Kamil Misra's wicket in his second over. This is his first wicket for the Indian Under-19 team. Arjuna gave 33 runs from the economy rate of 3 in 11 overs. Sachin played the first ODI in Gujranwala on 18 December 1989 against Pakistan. In that match, Sachin bowled two balls later without losing the wicket of Waqar Younis. Sachin's catch was caught by Wasim Akram

In the match, India took the lead 345 runs: Sri Lanka's Under-19 team scored 244 runs in the first innings. Harsh Tyagi and Ayush Badoni took 4-4 wickets for the Indian junior team. In reply, India finished the match on the third day of the match with a huge total of 589 runs. For him, Atharw Tayade scored 113 and Ayush Badoni scored an unbeaten 185. Ayush played 205 balls and hit 19 fours and 4 sixes. Atharwad studded 13 fours. Captain of the Indian Under-19 team, Anuj Rawat scored 63 runs in 59 balls with 8 fours and 2 sixes.
