LG's mobile was booked online; Snapdeal sent home, second set, Consumer Forum imposed 7 thousand fines

Shopping for a consumer from online websites is expensive. He booked online LG Company's Single SIM Mobile from Snapdeal for Rs. 12799. Online company sent a set of mobile companies instead of LG And its price was even higher. Mobile started hanging a month later. Headphones, speakers and battery charging were not working properly. While hearing the case, the District Consumer Forum's presidency member Sunil Srivastava and Alka Saxena's Bench ordered the company to give the company a compensation of Rs 13566 along with the interest of mobile and compensation of Rs 7,000 for mental, physical and financial compensation.

What was the case: Kunjan Nagar resident, Nihit Singh, had booked the LG company's mobile on July 2017 from Snapdeal.com. If the company sent the mobile home, the demand for the customer was Rs 1,356. About whom he asked, the distributor said that the company has asked him to take such a sum. One year warranty of mobile was also given. When the consumer opened the mobile, they found that LG G4 (single SIM), 32 GB black color was booked, but they got the color also the second and the double SIM was given by the mobile company.


Due to the bad mobile software, it started hanging quickly. Battery backup was too low. When the consumer complained to Snapdeal, the company said that mobile and bill again. A few days later the phone came that now mobile can not be properly, they did not even send the bill back. Even after giving a reminder he did not give any response to the company.

The same damaged two 40 thousand rupees damages: District Consumer Forum has been found guilty of unfair trade by the Agrawal Packers and Movers Company. Forum chairman RK Bhave and member Sunil Shrivastav have ordered the company to pay 40,508 rupees to the customer.
